IT Technician in Security and Surveillance

Our client, an established player in security and critical infrastructure, is now seeking an IT technician for a smaller specialist team within IT monitoring. The role is suitable for you who want to work broadly with technical security solutions in a stable environment where availability, reliability, and responsibility are central.

About the Role

You will work with the operation, development, and improvement of alarm and IT environments. The assignment includes both technical management and troubleshooting, as well as participation in internal improvement projects. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues and requires a high degree of independence.

Responsibilities

• Operation and development of alarm and surveillance systems (alarm receivers, CCTV, VMS)
• Network configuration and troubleshooting (VPN, NAT)
• Server administration in Windows and Linux environments (AD, GPO, email, security solutions)
• Administration of M365 and qualified user support
• SQL troubleshooting, backup, and migration work
• Script and integration solutions (meritorious)
• Technical support related to telephony and agent systems
• On-call duty according to schedule

Profile

You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a clear interest in IT security and system operation. You thrive on responsibility, varied technical environments, and working both independently and in teams.

Desired Competence:

• Experience in IT security and technical monitoring or alarm environments
• Good knowledge of networks, server operation, and Microsoft 365
• Experience with SQL, backup, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with advanced user support
• Script skills and telephony are meritorious

Conditions

• Work location: Stockholm
• Working hours: daytime, weekdays, with scheduled on-call duty
• Employment: full-time, permanent (probationary employment may occur)
• Flexible working arrangements and the possibility of remote work

The position is subject to security clearance and may require Swedish citizenship.
